Pave Bank is hiring a Junior Security Engineer to protect its programmable business-banking platform. The role involves reviewing code, building security tools and automation, testing applications for vulnerabilities, supporting third-party security reviews and penetration tests, educating engineering and product teams on secure practices, and monitoring emerging threats. Candidates need an adversary-first mindset, familiarity with attacker tools and OWASP Top 10, programming experience in Go, Python, or TypeScript, and clear communication skills; blockchain, security tooling, CTFs, bug bounties, open-source contributions, and startup experience are preferred.
