AddSecure is hiring a Junior Software Developer for its Smart Alarms business unit in Theale, near Reading. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in the office, and focuses on testing and improving communications protocols for fire and intruder alarm panels, investigating product issues, and developing tools and tests. The developer will initially work with existing products and may later implement new protocols and features in C and Python. The position is suitable for recent graduates or candidates with some commercial experience, with embedded systems experience not required but programming ability demonstrated through personal projects, open-source contributions, or substantial technical work.
