Silvervine Software is hiring a genuine junior software engineer for its LAAIR team, which owns SvApi, an insurance-platform API layer. The role focuses on building and maintaining C# and ASP.NET Core REST endpoints, integrating third-party insurance data providers, mapping JSON/XML responses, writing unit and integration tests, applying validation and other cross-cutting concerns, consolidating shared libraries, and debugging production integration failures. Candidates should have working C#/.NET 6+ knowledge, REST API, serialization, SQL, and Git/pull-request fundamentals, with zero to three years of professional experience plus a relevant degree or equivalent portfolio; insurance experience is not required.
