Findmypast is hiring a Junior Software Engineer for its Product & Technology team. The role is intended for someone at the beginning of their engineering career and involves developing, testing, maintaining, and releasing software components and services, investigating defects, collaborating with product and engineering stakeholders, and learning through mentoring in a flexible hybrid environment. Candidates may have gained exposure through education, apprenticeships, placements, personal projects, or early-career work and should know at least one programming language, Git, software development and testing practices, application deployment and support, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.
