Helsing is opening 20+ roles across its Deployed AI and Software Engineering teams and is piloting a direct, craft-first application route for early-career engineers. Candidates submit a short prerecorded technical walkthrough of a project they have built, followed by an expression of interest, engineer-led video evaluation, two technical interviews, and a final leadership interview. The role involves developing reliable, mission-critical AI and software systems for autonomous platforms, with responsibilities spanning systems design, live coding, collaboration, and ethical engineering. Experience with Python, Rust, backend interfaces, cloud-native architectures, hardware interfaces, and robotics is preferred, while relocation support, learning, wellness, parental leave, and remote work options are offered.
