Description

Sparibis LLC is hiring a full-stack software developer for a hybrid role based in Suitland, Maryland, with one onsite day per week for program execution. The position involves developing and maintaining enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, AWS, relational databases, REST APIs, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps tools, including support for an Oracle-to-PostgreSQL cloud migration. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, at least three years of enterprise application development experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 3 years of experience
3+ years of software development experience supporting enterprise applications
Experience developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and maintaining web-based enterprise applications through the full software development lifecycle
Experience with RESTful web services and/or microservices
Experience with relational databases and SQL, including application/database integration
Experience in AWS cloud environments and AWS-based application deployments
Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes
Experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Experience with Git-based source control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and repository management
Experience with containerized application environments and technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies
Experience supporting secure software deployment and configuration management practices in an enterprise environment
Experience developing and executing automated unit, integration, and/or functional tests
Experience utilizing JIRA to manage assigned work and request approvals for changes and deployments
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Hibernate, Spring, or similar frameworks
Experience supporting Oracle-to-PostgreSQL database migration
Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics or other enterprise analytics/reporting platforms
Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Xray, and/or QMetry
