Red Alpha is hiring a Junior Systems Engineer to support the planning, design, implementation, and delivery of mission-critical software for government customers. The role covers requirements gathering and documentation, Jira user stories and epics, Agile planning, developer coordination, functional testing, customer demonstrations, and UX collaboration. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or four additional years of experience, along with functional testing, Agile, Jira, Confluence, and software development knowledge. Up to one day of telework per week is permitted, and the projected salary range is $85,000 to $140,000.
