Description
The Junior Systems Engineer provides first-line support for hybrid IT infrastructure, assisting senior engineers with on-premises servers and Microsoft Azure environments. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, administering user accounts, patching operating systems, supporting server builds and deployments, troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers, verifying backups, administering basic Azure resources, handling Level 1 incidents, maintaining documentation, and following security, governance, and change-management procedures.
