Waypoint’s client is hiring a full-time Junior Telemetry Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama to support the Missile Defense Agency’s Targets and Countermeasures program. The role involves ballistic missile target vehicle development, system engineering, requirements assessment, modeling and simulation, test analysis, telemetry data acquisition and processing, mission planning, and the creation of visualizations and reports. The position requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, at least three years of relevant experience, an active DoD Secret security clearance, and proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, and C#.
