Description
AST SpaceMobile is hiring a Junior Test Software Engineer for its India-based System Software Testing team to verify and validate flight software implementing attitude and orbit control functions. The role involves developing automated Python and MATLAB test frameworks, executing unit, integration, and software-in-the-loop tests, debugging C++ flight software, maintaining simulation and reporting infrastructure, documenting results, and coordinating with FSW and AOCS engineering teams. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with Python, MATLAB, C++, control systems, and orbital mechanics. The role is based in India and requires working from the office approximately 80% of the time.
