Waypoint’s client is hiring a full-time Junior Trajectory Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama to support the Missile Defense Agency’s Targets and Countermeasures program. The role involves developing ballistic missile target vehicles, performing trajectory validation and performance analysis, generating 6DOF trajectory data, supporting mission planning, and developing engineering tools and data products. Candidates need a STEM bachelor’s degree, at least three years of relevant experience, an active DoD Secret clearance, and proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, and C#.
