Description
AWS is hiring a Kernel Engineer for its Neuron Compiler organization to design and implement high-performance compute kernels for machine learning operations on Inferentia and Trainium accelerators. The role involves optimizing kernel-level performance, using profiling tools, applying compiler optimizations such as fusion, sharding, tiling, and scheduling, collaborating with compiler, runtime, framework, and hardware teams, and working with customers to enable and optimize ML models. The position requires at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and programming experience; a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred. The role is based in Cupertino, California, with a base salary of $165,200 to $223,600 annually.
