Description
The West Suburban YMCA is hiring Kids' Corner Program Staff Members for its Wells Ave childcare location. The role provides a safe, supervised play environment for children while parents or guardians are on the premises, including monitoring children and parents, completing forms, planning activities, enforcing hygiene, responding to emergencies, and covering for absent staff. Applicants must have infant and adult CPR/AED and First Aid, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, experience with children’s play, arts and crafts, and group activities, and complete required WSYMCA employee training. The position requires lifting 25 pounds and frequently standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and possibly crawling.
