Description
The Development Intern will support Independence Institute’s nonprofit fundraising and donor relations through donor database management, prospect research, grant writing, fundraising appeals, marketing and strategy development, and event planning. The role is available for full-time or part-time participation during winter, spring, summer, and fall semesters, with alternate academic schedules often accommodated. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, have strong communication and organizational skills, and be interested in nonprofit management, fundraising, or public policy. The program offers mentorship and professional development, and participants receive a stipend of $7,500 for full-time work or $5,500 for part-time work.
