Description
AWS is hiring a Software Engineer for its Kiro Autonomous Agent service, a frontier agent that independently tackles software development tasks, maintains context across interactions, and learns from its work. The role shapes the service's technical direction and architecture, works with customers to translate development challenges into product capabilities, and builds and operates production systems using CI/CD practices. Responsibilities span compiler technologies, agent training and steering, scalable deployment, reliability, performance, and security. The position requires at least five years of professional software development experience, programming experience, system design or architecture leadership, and mentorship or engineering-team leadership experience. It is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $168,100 to $227,400 USD annually.
