Description
The Child Development Center Aide assists teachers and the lead teacher in caring for toddlers and preschool children at the New Adventure Learning Center. Duties include supervising children during play, meals, toilet, and rest activities; preparing and serving meals and snacks; changing diapers; cleaning classrooms and kitchens; maintaining sanitation and environmental-health standards; ordering supplies; and preparing records. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalency, at least two years of experience working with young children in a nursery school, kindergarten, or child-care facility, a valid North Carolina driver's license, and successful completion of background checks and drug screening.
