Description
The Kitchen Assistant supports the daily preparation, service, and sale of school meals, including food preparation, sanitation, HACCP compliance, equipment use, food storage, point-of-sale reconciliation, and community relations. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, collaboration with students, staff, parents, and Nutrition Services, and willingness to travel to multiple schools as needed. It is a regular part-time position at Timber Trail Elementary with 20 scheduled hours per week, 0.50 FTE, and a minimum hire rate of $17.39 USD per hour.
