Description
The Kitchen Assistant supports the daily preparation, service, and sale of school meals, including food preparation, sanitation, HACCP compliance, equipment use, food storage, point-of-sale reconciliation, and community relations. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, collaboration with students, staff, and parents, and willingness to travel to multiple schools as needed. It is a regular 0.75-FTE position scheduled for 30 hours per week at Legend High School, with a minimum hourly rate of $17.39 and a maximum hourly rate of $22.14, and is open until filled before December 28, 2026.
