Description
The Kitchen Assistant supports the daily preparation, cooking, serving, and sale of school meals, including food preparation, sanitation, HACCP compliance, equipment use, point-of-sale reconciliation, and community relations. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, physical work involving standing, lifting, and repetitive motions, and willingness to travel to multiple schools as needed. It is a regular 0.75-FTE position scheduled for 30 hours per week, with a full-time salary range of $17.39 to $26.89 per hour and benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, and paid time off.
