Description
The Kitchen Assistant supports the daily preparation, cooking, serving, and sale of school meals at Ranch View Middle School. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning serving areas, dishwashing, sanitation, HACCP compliance, recipe preparation, food storage, point-of-sale reconciliation, customer service, and training. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, physical work involving standing, lifting, and repetitive motions, and willingness to travel to multiple schools as needed. It is a regular part-time position scheduled for 20 hours per week, with a full-time salary range of $17.39 to $26.89 per hour and benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, and paid time off.
