Description
The Kitchen Assistant supports the daily preparation, cooking, serving, and sale of school meals at Ranch View Middle School. Responsibilities include setting up and cleaning serving areas, dishwashing, sanitation, HACCP compliance, recipe preparation, food storage, point-of-sale reconciliation, customer service, and training. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, physical work involving standing, lifting, and repetitive motions, and willingness to travel to multiple schools as needed. It is a regular 0.75-FTE position scheduled for 30 hours per week, with a minimum hourly rate of $17.39 and a maximum of $22.14, and is open until filled before December 21, 2026.
