The Kitchen Assistant supports cooks and food preparation by following recipes, obtaining supplies, operating food equipment safely, maintaining sanitation, cleaning kitchen areas and equipment, handling china and glassware, and assisting with inventory and storage. The role requires basic knife skills, knowledge of health department regulations, English communication skills, a pleasant professional demeanor, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of general kitchen experience are preferred.
