Description
Bupa is hiring a part-time Kitchen Assistant for Hatfield Peverel Lodge Care Home in Chelmsford. The role works 20 hours per week, including alternate weekends, and supports chefs by plating meals, preparing food trolleys, maintaining preparation areas, monitoring stock rotation, and following COSHH and HACCP guidelines. The assistant also helps with catering for special events and communicates with residents and kitchen and care home teams. Previous kitchen experience and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate are required; the salary is £12.80–£13.80 per hour depending on experience.
