The Kitchen Assistant supports the daily preparation, service, and sale of meals in charter schools, including operating a point-of-sale system, reconciling monies, following recipes, maintaining sanitation standards, assisting with serving-area setup and cleanup, and participating in kitchen training. The role requires frequent lifting of 40 pounds, standing, walking, squatting, reaching, and stooping, and is scheduled for 30 hours per week at Montessori Charter School. The position pays $17.39 to $22.14 per hour and is open until filled before December 18, 2026.
