Description
Aloft Dallas Downtown is seeking a kitchen food preparation professional to prepare menu items at an assigned station for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The role includes station setup and breakdown, cooking through methods such as roasting, broiling, baking, frying, steaming, and stewing, safe operation and cleaning of kitchen equipment, sanitation and food-storage compliance, waste and food-cost control, and supervision and training of kitchen staff. Candidates should be able to follow recipes, measure ingredients, maintain food quality in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and handle prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 pounds; prior fast-paced kitchen experience is preferred.
