Description

The Knowledgebase Technical Writer II (m/f/n) will create, edit, and review content for ESET's support knowledgebase (support.eset.com), as well as develop internal and external support materials. This role requires a deep understanding of ESET products from a user experience perspective, enabling the creation of technical documentation tailored to ESET customers.

Editing, proofreading, research, and technical interviewing
Image editing, screen capturing and recording software
HTML
Multiple operating systems (Windows Server/Desktop, cloud-hosted, Linux, macOS, Android/iOS)
Setting up and using virtual environments for software testing
Content versioning systems (SVN), RDP
Content/Knowledge Management systems (CMS, KMS) and help authoring tools
Customer success principles (KCS, topic-based authoring, information design)
Content analytics/metrics tools and methodologies, and Knowledge Management methodologies
English C1 level
Slovak B2 level

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, English, or a related field.
Required Previous Experiences: At least 2 years of work experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications: ESET certifications, or accredited professional/academic certification in a technical or related specialty.
Knowledge and interest in cybersecurity.
