Description
The Backend Engineer will develop scalable back-end services in Kotlin, design and maintain event-driven microservices and REST or GraphQL APIs, and contribute to distributed systems using Kafka, Cassandra, or similar technologies. The role also involves infrastructure-as-code, Agile DevOps collaboration, code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation. Candidates need at least five years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, strong Kotlin and Java skills, and experience with microservices, distributed systems, databases, APIs, containerization, cloud platforms, CI/CD, and Git.
