Description
SGS is hiring a Laboratory Analyst for its Reno, Nevada laboratory. The role prepares and analyzes samples using analytical SOPs and instrumentation, performs routine instrument operation and calibration, supports validation and method detection limit studies, assists with client inquiries and corrective action responses, maintains laboratory records, and follows safety and quality procedures. The position requires an associate degree in chemistry or a similar scientific discipline with 0–2 years of analytical chemistry laboratory experience or three years of relevant experience, basic mathematical and reasoning skills, Microsoft Office experience, and the ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds frequently; a bachelor’s degree and experience with GCMS, organics methods, or LIMS are preferred.
