Description
Dynacare is hiring one Laboratory Assistant (float) for a contract, part-time role of 10 months with guaranteed 15 hours per week. The position processes blood samples and other laboratory specimens, enters requisitions and results, provides customer service, performs venipuncture and specimen collections, and follows laboratory SOPs. It is based in North York, the Greater Toronto Area, Etobicoke, or Woodbridge, Ontario, with day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Sunday. Candidates need secondary school education, laboratory or medical laboratory assistance training, and specialized phlebotomy training; MLPAO/CSMLS certification is strongly recommended. The pay rate is $20.00 to $24.75 per hour.
