Description
The Lab Assistant obtains and processes patient specimens, performs phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients, handles urine, stool, sputum, and other sample collections, processes and labels specimens in EMR and LIS, supports POCT and microbiology workflows, maintains supplies and biosafety standards, and provides patient and staff customer service. The role requires completion of phlebotomy or lab assistant training and one year of phlebotomy experience, with processing experience preferred.
