Description
The Laboratory Technician performs automated laboratory testing and specimen-processing duties, including preparing bar-coded specimens, operating chemistry, hematology, and urine analyzers, centrifuging and labeling samples, logging received specimens, storing or discarding specimens, and setting up primary bacteriological cultures. The role follows infectious-material, aseptic, and antisepsis procedures and is scheduled for Tuesday-Thursday evening or overnight shifts from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., with pay starting at $20 per hour based on experience.
