Description
The Laboratory Specimen Processor receives, verifies, labels, centrifuges, packages, and routes patient specimens to in-house and offsite laboratories. The role also handles redraw paperwork, specimen shipment documentation, communication with laboratories, and reference-lab specimen tracking. It is a full-time Monday-Friday position with alternating weekends, pays $20.00-$22.00 based on experience, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED, independent work, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and knowledge of medical terminology.
