LabCorp is hiring a Lab Assistant to support clinical laboratory operations at Ascension St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves receiving and sorting specimens, preparing them for testing, scanning and entering patient and specimen information, maintaining equipment, troubleshooting specimen issues, replenishing supplies, and following safety and quality procedures. The position works a Monday-Friday second shift from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with no weekends, and requires a high school diploma or equivalent; histology, clinical laboratory accessioning, and medical terminology experience are preferred. Benefits are available to regularly scheduled employees working 20 or more hours per week.
