Description
The Clinical Toxicology Lab Assistant receives on-the-job training and supports pre-analytical specimen preparation and patient sample testing in a fast-paced clinical toxicology laboratory. Responsibilities include retrieving and aliquoting urine, blood, serum, plasma, and oral fluid specimens; evaluating specimens and test orders; prioritizing batches; preparing materials and reagents; maintaining documentation, equipment logs, and work areas; and supporting training of others. The role is scheduled for the second shift, Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with some overtime as needed.
