Description
The Lab Assistant II supports clinical toxicology laboratory operations by receiving, labeling, preparing, and entering specimens; operating and maintaining laboratory instruments; preparing chemicals and reagents; maintaining work areas; monitoring pending and overdue lists; disposing of biohazardous materials; and completing QA/QC and training requirements. The role requires one year of full-time technical or clinical laboratory experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems, and the ability to work independently and accurately. The position is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and pays $17.20 or more per hour, with possible shift differentials.
