The Phlebotomy Technician collects blood specimens, receives, handles, sorts, and processes specimens for laboratory testing; performs patient registration, test-order entry, specimen accessions, basic post-analytic reporting, quality documentation, and equipment operation. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and CPTI or CPT II certification, works a variable-day short-hour schedule with Saturday requirements, and pays $34.55 to $48.36 per hour.
