Clean Harbors is hiring a Lab Chemist in Cleveland, Ohio to support its chemical disposal operation. The role involves sample preparation, chemical and physical analysis, instrumentation calibration, equipment maintenance, QA/QC documentation, supply management, and waste management. The position begins with day-shift training and then moves to a second shift from 3:30 p.m. to midnight Monday through Friday, with overtime and Saturdays as needed. A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or physical science and 1–5 years of hands-on laboratory experience with wet chemistry testing methods are required; chromatography, spectroscopy, and titration experience are preferred. The pay rate is $23 per hour plus a $1.75 shift differential once on the second shift, with health benefits available after 30 days of employment.
