Description
Thompson Health is hiring a Pre-Analytical Laboratory Technician to process and prepare specimens, register patients, enter laboratory orders, bill charges, audit accounts, and support the laboratory revenue cycle. The role requires pre-analytical specimen-processing knowledge, attention to specimen integrity, confidentiality, and basic outpatient coding and medical-necessity screening. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an AAS degree or two years of college in biological sciences and one year of laboratory experience are preferred. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and every sixth Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with pay of $21.28 to $26.40 based on experience.
