Description
The Lab Coordinator oversees daily laboratory specimen collection operations across multiple sites, supervising Laboratory Assistants and collection personnel while coordinating staffing, workflow, training, quality, compliance, inventory, and patient service. The role also supports hiring, covers the Lab Manager when absent, and leads Lean Six Sigma and other operational improvement initiatives. It requires an associate’s degree in healthcare, laboratory science, or a related field, BLS certification, 3–5 years of related laboratory experience, and at least one year of supervisory or lead experience.
