Description

The Infrastructure Lab Engineer supports large-scale device lab environments for hardware and software development by maintaining fleets of iOS and macOS devices and peripherals, provisioning and deploying hardware, troubleshooting failures, and developing automation and configuration-management solutions. The role also uses telemetry, operational analytics, and AI-assisted workflows to improve device readiness, lab efficiency, reliability, and customer experience.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2–3+ years supporting software services in a Unix-based environment
Exposure to automated provisioning processes
Basic scripting experience in Shell or Python
Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or similar
Working knowledge of Git or other source control systems
Experience contributing to shared repositories and collaborative development workflows
Experience using AI-assisted development tools for scripting, automation, debugging, or technical problem solving
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fast-paced engineering environments
Exposure to service-based systems and RESTful services
Basic LAN networking knowledge
Experience in structured lab environments with high-density hardware deployments
Experience supporting macOS and/or iOS devices in a lab environment
Familiarity with device provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
