Description
Adept Group is hiring a Lab Manager as a 1099 independent contractor to manage packaging laboratory operations, testing workflows, equipment maintenance and calibration, safety, compliance, vendor relationships, and capital-expenditure tracking. The role supports packaging engineers and a 50+ person team and requires onsite work three to four days per week in East Hanover, New Jersey, for approximately 40 hours per week on a one-year contract. Applicants need at least seven years of relevant experience, with packaging lab and equipment experience, commissioning experience, and cross-functional collaboration skills; CPG/consumer packaged goods experience is preferred. Compensation is $48–$65 per hour, and the position does not include company-sponsored benefits or visa sponsorship.
