Description
Carrier is seeking a Lab Manager to lead and oversee air conditioning testing and validation activities for new product development programs. The role manages day-to-day HVAC laboratory operations, supervises testing of RES, IMS, LC, and VRF systems, validates performance parameters, ensures compliance with standards and EHS requirements, maintains equipment and procedures, leads root-cause analysis, prepares test reports, supports customer witness testing, and develops engineering, technician, and customer capabilities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC Engineering, 7–10+ years of HVAC testing or laboratory experience, at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role, and strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, testing methodologies, instrumentation, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
