North Park University is hiring a full-time, 12-month Lab Manager for its Physics and Engineering Laboratories in Chicago. The role supports lab teaching activities by managing specimen preparation, equipment setup and cleanup, safety training and certification, maintenance coordination, stockroom inventory, software license renewal, and collaboration with university IT, Physical Plant, and industry partners for senior design projects. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field, knowledge of machine shop and laboratory safety protocols, and experience with CNC machine shop instrumentation, laboratory work, and equipment maintenance.
