Description
The Lab Pack Chemist handles hazardous materials, including inventorying, identifying, segregating, packaging, collecting, consolidating, sampling, inspecting, labeling, loading, and documenting shipments in accordance with Lab Pack policies and applicable regulations. The role may require a CDL B with Hazmat Endorsement, involves moderate to extensive travel including 20% overnight travel, and requires physical ability to lift and move materials exceeding 55 pounds. An associate’s degree in general science is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, along with a driver’s license, basic chemistry or biology knowledge, and successful completion of DOT and other company requirements. The position pays $33.00 per hour and includes health, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits.
