Description
The Laboratory Processing Technician II performs EKGs, collects specimens within the employee’s training scope, prepares specimen types, assists with patient registration and laboratory report distribution, troubleshoots pre-analytical automation, and provides training or orientation to internal employees and external customers. The role works primarily on the evening shift, with weekends and holidays as needed, and requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy or Medical Assistant training, and ACT 169 clearance.
