Certified Group is hiring a Microbiology Technician to prepare samples for indicator organisms, pathogens, and chemistries; apply aseptic techniques; maintain media, reagents, and laboratory conditions; perform quality-control monitoring; and complete assigned microbiological testing procedures. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, broad knowledge of food-testing laboratory practices, and preferably an associate degree in life science or two years of laboratory experience. The schedule is 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens.
