Howmet Aerospace is hiring a Lab Tech for its Howmet Casting facility in Dover, New Jersey. The role performs metallographic sample preparation, microscopic examination, measurement, documentation, photography, equipment maintenance, and material testing, including sand testing and slurry testing. The position works a midnight shift from Sunday night through Thursday night, with several months of Monday-to-Friday training, and offers an anticipated hourly pay range of $25.50 to $30.00. A high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, organization, analytical and computer skills, and the ability to work independently and in a team are required; an associate degree in engineering or science and lab experience are preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available, and candidates must reside within 50 miles of Dover, New Jersey.
