Description
Lesaffre is hiring a Lab Technician for its Red Star Yeast team to conduct chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis of raw materials, yeast, in-process samples, and finished products. The role includes yeast culture preparation, activity testing, chemical and physical measurements, equipment maintenance, solution preparation, and proficiency testing. It reports to the Laboratory Supervisor, may receive direction from the Lab Manager and Production Manager, and follows a Thursday–Monday 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. schedule. An associate degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field is required, while a bachelor's degree or two years of chemistry-related laboratory experience is preferred.
