Description
The Clinical Skills Laboratory Technician supports the instructional program and operation of clinical skills facilities, including cleaning and organizing laboratory and freezer areas, preparing model-making solutions, maintaining cadaver models, managing inventory, collecting specimens, disposing of biohazardous materials, assisting with live-animal instruction, and preparing teaching materials. The role also supports students and faculty in locating and returning models and may teach laboratory subject matter under supervision. It requires an associate's degree in biological sciences or a related field plus laboratory experience, animal handling and medical-work experience, Microsoft Office and database knowledge, professional communication skills, flexibility for overtime and weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
