Description
The Laboratory Technician tests and monitors the quality of products, completes profiles on finished materials and purchases and shipments, obtains and ships samples to the Central Lab, submits test results, and performs site inspections, sampling, log reviews, and report preparation. The role also covers biosecurity, feed safety, product compliance, environmental, safety, and HACCP requirements, while maintaining laboratory and work areas and following safety rules. A high school diploma or GED and one year of prior laboratory experience with basic chemistry knowledge are required.
